The boyfriend and I were invited to his former coworker’s new home, out in the village of Staplehurst, in Kent.

We had lunch in their home and enjoyed a proper English pork roast with Yorkshire pudding. Then we were spoiled with an equally scrumptious serving of apple crumble topped with custard.
