It’s hard to remember everything based on holiday photos from 3 years ago. But the one thing I do remember is that of the places I visited during Christmas, Prague was my favourite alongside Paris.
Christmas market
The Christmas market here was livelier than the one in Salzburg. The Old Town Square area was filled with chimney cakes, stalls with toys, and carts selling pork hock (which unfortunately gave me food poisoning).
Free walking tours
The free walking tours around the city really contributed to Prague being one of my favourite cities. Our guide went over a lot of the city’s history – apparently the city was so beautiful Hitler made sure its architecture was unharmed for his return later.
Naše Maso
One of the recommendations we found online was to try the Naše Maso butcher. We ordered some sausages with bread, which made a nice little lunch.
