Went to see Tove Lo last night – proud to have been able to stay awake late on a school night. I think it would have been easier if the crowd was more into it. I can’t tell if it’s a Sydney thing or just this particular crowd – not many people were dancing along, even in the front by the stage!
Some appreciation for the honesty:
I eat my dinner in my bathtub

I get home, I got the munchies
Binge on all my Twinkies

I’m numb and way too easy

The venue was great too – the Metro theatre has a balcony bar once you enter, and ample front-of-stage space that’s intimate without being gross. Then the rest of the space has steps that ascend with plenty of standing space. Definitely looking forward to more gigs there in the future.
