There’s a reason why it’s called bushwalking in Australia because you’re literally walking through a lot of bush. This particular trek was from Martin’s lookout to Bunyan lookout, with an extension out to the Lost World lookout.

It was pretty crazy to see the blue haze between the valleys. Apparently the chemicals released by the eucalyptus trees cause this haze, and that’s what makes the mountains look kind of blue. Mother nature doesn’t disappoint!

The trail itself was more challenging than I expected, and made even more so by my masochist tendencies when I decided it was fine to do this walk with a massive hang over from work drinks the night before. Nevertheless it was an excellent work out with new friends, followed by a burger feast at a cute cafe in Glenbrook.
