While looking at TimeOut for things to do in London on weekends, the boyfriend and I came across Hyper Japan Christmas Market. They usually hold two events a year, one in the summer/spring and one for Christmas. We took a while to figure out if we should pay extra for the sushi judging contest and were quite happy to have skipped it.
The reason being… We went to the hot dog competition instead and it was my first time watching one. Glad I didn’t go in with a full stomach – watching the contestants made me both ill and impressed.
On the other hand I did discover one of my new favourite foods which is a combination of some of my existing favourite foods: matcha / ice cream / doriyaki!
